Calhoun Falls is desperately in need of a fresh and inviting facelift. The town is much like that of untamed hair. In need of a wash, trim, and smile. My previous opinion is not prude. I am simply hoping someone recognizes it's beauty and potential.
Let me tell my story. I am a local Mortgage Loan Originator. I scout alot of real estate. I have a history of serving with town development in my home state of North Carolina. I have witnessed water properties thrive like no local could ever imagine. I have seen the government offer grant after grant for true progress.
Calhoun Falls should be revived. It should be the home of an Urgent Care, EMT facility, larger Fire Department, Saw Mill, Trucking Company, Land Developer, Real Estate Office, Retirement Community, Ellaborate Campground, Beach Are, Restaraunt/Lounge, Boat and RV mechanics, ETC. Think about what state magazines would read! Think about employment! Think about how proud you would be to live in Calhoun Falls.
P.S. Fishing Tournaments, Kayak Trails, Waterslide on beach, bumper boats, Festivals, Placing first in Education. STAND UP COMMUNITY AND BE PROUD!!!
